Auditions
Cantorum singers are team players with extensive choral backgrounds and professional singing experience. Ensemble members live in both Utah and Salt Lake Counties and travel to Timpanogos High School to rehearse each Tuesday evening. The ensemble performs approximately 6 times each season (Sept. – Dec. and Jan. – April). Auditions are held on an as-needed basis and by appointment only, usually at the conclusion of the previous season. AUDITIONS ARE NOW COMPLETED FOR THE 2025-26 SEASON.
Cantorum seeks singers who are focused, trained, talented musicians with a fierce drive for excellence. They sing with a truly classical, though flexible, sound, and use the entire voice to sing into the blend of the ensemble. They do not need to be in the lime light to have a satisfying experience, but are instead team players who have the good of the ensemble as their primary goal.
